Regain function and build strength on our personalised inpatient orthopaedic rehabilitation program
Arcadia Pittwater’s inpatient orthopaedic rehabilitation program is a specialist rehabilitation program following hip or knee replacements, spinal surgery, trauma or fractures.
The program is delivered by our multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, hydrotherapists, rehabilitation specialists and nurses. An individualised treatment plan is developed based on your needs and goals.
Our team will work with you to help build strength, improve range of joint movement, improve walking quality and tolerance, and improve balance to promote independence and help you reach your optimal capability.
Orthopaedic rehabilitation programs are available as either inpatient programs or day programs.
Hear Nick’s story
Nick Shalley did his orthopaedic rehabilitation at Arcadia Pittwater following a double knee replacement – participating in a daily program of physiotherapy and hydrotherapy.
He was referred to the hospital by his surgeon and also received personal recommendations from friends. Nick visited Arcadia Pittwater before his surgery to decide whether to do his post-op rehab in a hospital or at home. He said the facilities and the care and expertise of staff made the decision an easy one. Listen to Nick’s rehab journey back to full mobility and independence.
