Dr Prathibha Aprameyan graduated from medical school in India with distinction; completed specialist training in rehabilitation medicine in Sydney and is a fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (RACP).

Dr Aprameyan was drawn to rehabilitation medicine from a desire to holistically maximise function and improve quality of life in addition to evidence based medical care.

Dr Aprameyan has expertise in managing people with functional decline from complex medical and geriatric conditions, cancer rehabilitation, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries and orthopaedic rehabilitation. She is passionate about providing integrated multidisciplinary rehabilitation care in the community and is a part of various rehab clinics exploring newer models of care to extend services to the community.
